2010 collection finally arrives

The 2010 collection has finally arrived and is in the shops.

It has been a nightmare this year. Firstly they had a massive flood in Sao Paolo with the whole city under water. Then we had the volcanic ash problem which delayed the flights. Priority was being given to footstuffs, so we had a backlog. Are these people mad? Surely they understand that bikinis are more important than bananas?

Salinas devotee Charlotte Thomson from Truro in Cornwall, has reached the final 10 in FHM's High Street Honey's competition.

Ex Miss England finalist Charlotte is waiting anxiously for the result which will be announced in mid May, but is quitely confident. She was featured last year on the cover of lifestyle magazine 24/7 wearing a Salinas Aqua bikini.

Salinas was once again a big part of Sports Illustrated's coveted swimwear issue. This year they featured 22 year old Moscow Born Tennis Star, Maria Kirilenko, and up and coming model Ariel Meredith.

Too many samples

We always end up with so many samples. Styles that maybe we didn't run, or one off weird and wonderful pieces that are quite unique.

We don't really know what to do with them so we've put them into packs of 5 bikinis for the ridiculous price of only £60. For all five. The downside is that they are all size small.

Emma in the Maldives

A friend of ours, Emma Skinner from Newquay, recently came back from a photo shoot in The Maldives with top photographer Lucia Griggi. She'd had a fantastic time doing photos, hanging out on sun drenched beaches, and having a laugh.

She's a pretty hot surfer too, so she took full advantage of the Island's great waves.

We don't make doughnuts

The new season's stock hasn't left Brazil yet, which is a bit disconcerting considering that it should already have been delivered into the shops. Our customers are being incredibly patient.
The crazy thing is that when we asked Brazil what the delay was, they just told us to chill out and relax. "We don't make doughnuts they said, we make gorgeous bikinis and they take time"
They've got a point, so in the meantime we sit and wait.
